Grad Gifts: Good, Bad And Bizarre It is that time of year: Graduation! High schoolers and collegians are going to strut their stuff off to university, grad college or the fearsome real life. One great tradition would be to commemorate this momentous occasion by providing a present towards the fortunate graduate. But what to provide?

One blunder grad gift givers often make would be to consider a present which they (the giver) wish to get. The sc rub here is that there’s a issue that is generational. What may appeal to a 40- or 50-something might easily fall flat for the early or 18-year-old 20-something. The idea of a fairly expensive gift going to waste bothers me.
